Strabane District Council are running an Artisan workshop at Sion Stables on 17th and 18th February 2015 when the art of stick / crook making will be demonstrated by local artist Tom Crow with participants in the workshop getting first hand experience in making their own crooks. Toms has many exquisite examples of his work on show using a variety of materials sourced locally – this is a fascinating course which we hope to repeat again at Sion Stables so if you are interested keep an eye on our site for notification of upcoming courses.
